Waterbeach Village is well served with groups for families with babies and young children: The list below are some of the groups currently meeting in the village on different week days. All welcome new faces. Dates are usually term time only. Click on Diary Dates for term time dates.

School Links

The Playgroup has close links to Waterbeach Community Primary School. Visits are made to school by the Playgroup in the summer before the children start and Teachers from the school also visit the Playgroup to get to know the children. Wayne is the Joint Co-ordinator at WASPS (Waterbeach After School Play Scheme).

Community Links

We are members of the Waterbeach Community Association which is an alliance of the community groups, organisations and interested individuals from the villages of Waterbeach, Landbeach and Chittering. They organise various social events throughout the year including the Waterbeach Feast, a major village event for nearly 40 years, in which the playgroup always enters a float in the parade and has a stall with childrens (and adults!) games.

Milton & Waterbeach Children's Centre

We are lucky to have a brand new SureStart Children's Centre in the village, based in the grounds of the School. The centre provides a range of information and drop-in sessions for children aged 0-5 years.
