School LinksThe Playgroup has close links to Waterbeach Community Primary School. Visits are made to school by the Playgroup in the summer before the children start and Teachers from the school also visit the Playgroup to get to know the children. Wayne is the Deputy Co-ordinator at WASPS (Waterbeach After School Play Scheme).Further information about the school can be found on the Waterbeach Community Primary School

Community LinksWe are members of the Waterbeach Community Association which is an alliance of the community groups, organisations and interested individuals from the villages of Waterbeach, Landbeach and Chittering. They organise various social events throughout the year including the Waterbeach Feast, a major village event for nearly 40 years, in which the playgroup always enters a float in the parade and has a stall with childrens (and adults!) games. We are a member group of Local Secrets, who offer a fantastic guide to eating out, lifestyle and what's on in and around Cambridge; with restaurant, pub and shopping top picks, and loads of exclusive great offers on eating out.
The Black Bean Cafe runs at the White Horse every Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 9am until 12 noon. Children are welcomed; there is a toy box and often CBeebies on the Television!
